Performance

The Ram 3500 features a standard gasoline V8 and an optional diesel six-cylinder, with an available high-output version of the diesel. Rear-wheel drive is standard in the Regular cab and four-wheel drive is available.

2021 Ram 3500 Towing

Standard:

  • 410 hp 6.3-liter V8 that makes 429 lb ft of torque and is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission

Available:

  • 6.7-liter Cummins turbo-diesel inline-six comes in two versions of diesel that are both matched with a six-speed automatic transmission.

    • 400 horsepower HO version that makes 1075 lb ft of torque

Longhorn – available load-leveling rear air suspension

Towing:
