2021 GMC Canyon on the Road

The GMC Canyon is a small pickup truck with an optimal combination of power, efficiency and trailering capability; while the new Canyon AT4 is engineered to keep you confidently blazing trails and getting the job done. The Canyon offers three capable engines and has impressive towing and hauling capacities, as well as composed handling and decent gas mileage.

Standard engine on the rear-wheel-drive Elevation Standard and Elevation:

  • 2.5-liter four-cylinder, with 200 horsepower and 191 lb-ft of torque – paired with a six-speed automatic transmission

Standard on the AT4, Denali and available on the Elevation Standard and Elevation:

  • 3.6-liter V6 engine, with 308 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque – paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission

Optional:

  • Turbocharged 2.8-liter diesel four-cylinder, with 181 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque – paired with a six-speed automatic transmission.
